Rosie joined the internal medicine team at NEH in October 2015. Following graduation Rosie spent a spell in private equine practice. Rosie then undertook a residency in equine internal medicine at the Royal Veterinary College, obtaining the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Diploma in 2011. Rosie has also completed both a Masters and PhD on muscle physiology and disease in the horse.
Rosie is interested in all aspects of internal medicine, and is available for hospital referrals, and visiting services. For visiting services, Rosie has the use of the latest portable equipment. This includes videoendoscopy, including a three metre scope for gastroscopy, telemetric electrocardiography and a Logic ultrasound scanner with a selection of probes for abdominal and cardiothoracic examinations.
